The four day break

The Flyers have a break to relax, and review their play.

With the Flyers playing the way they have in the passed few games, let's hope this break doesn't kill their momentum they have.

Their next game is in Buffalo, Friday the 21st.

Here is how their next few games look-

Home- November 22nd in Philly against the Coyotes
Away- November 21st in Buffalo against the Sabres

Back to back wins

Flyers beat Canadians and Atlanta in back-to-back games.

After the Flyers beat the Habs in Canada, they headed back home to play the Thrashers.

After ending the Thrashers 5 game win streak, the Flyers are now 7-6-4, gaining a win percentage of above .500

So close, but yet so far away...

The Flyers almost had the Pens, but fell short.

For those who missed the game, it was a good one.

The Penguins took a one goal lead in the first, and added to it in the second, putting them ahead by three.

Then, the Flyers fire back with four unanswered goals, putting them ahead. Then, with only a few minutes left in the game, a turn over in the defensive end, ends up on Crosby's stick. But not for long though, as it's in the net before you can blink.

For more on the game, see the widget that has the Flyer's latest games on it at the bottom of the blog.

Flyers VS Penguins

Who will come out on top?

I think it's going to be a close game. The Flyers are going to want to get revenge from last season.

Flyers VS Penguins -

WATCH IT

Do the Flyers have a chance at making it to the cup?

I know it's very early in the season to start talking about winning the cup, but what do you think?

Do you think they could pull it off? Or will the Pens, or any other Eastern Conference team beat them to it?

I think if the Flyers played like they did in the final stages of the season last year, they have a good shot.

Just remember everything that happened to them; Gagne was out with a concussion; Patrick Thoreson taking one for the team, and Coburn getting hit the eye with a puck.

If the Flyers can stay injury free, they have a good chance at taking it all.

The Flyers take down the Islanders

The Flyers are now 5-6-3 after beating the Islanders last night, 3 to 1.

The Scoring Re-Cap
  • For the Flyers, Briere, Richards, and Timonen.
  • The only goal the Islanders scored was scored by T.Hunter.

Could it be the return of Briere that sparked the Flyers to beat the Islanders?

The Slump

The Flyers couldn't win even if the other team forfeited.

  • The Flyers are off to a slow start this season, having four wins, six loses.
